As a Data Manager, you will develop the company's underlying data management strategy and processes. You will also align with teams across the business to ensure business needs are met and integrated into systems and analytics solutions. This role will be the central ‘hub’ of the management of the company’s data and the data requests received.
In your first few weeks in this Data Manager role, you can expect to:
- Build a central repository of information by consolidating currently fragmented information sources
- Maintain standardised and more accurate data across all current and future business systems and datasets
- Manage, support and develop data quality and data collection processes to facilitate analysis, reporting, and add value to procurement activities
- Improve standardisation of data flow to facilitate data collection and improve data quality metrics and processes
To apply for this Data Manager role, you will need previous experience in a multi-source data environment facilitating requirements gathering sessions, documenting requirements, analysing, and evaluating possible solutions to meet requirements. You will also require the following:
- Experience with data profiling, data cleansing and other forms of quality checks
- Good understanding of data models and data architecture models
- Understanding of requirements gathering and business process mapping
- Experience with project management and reporting, including management updates
