Credit Controller - Slough

We are seeking a full-time Credit Controller to join a fleet management and automotive company based in Slough offering £29,000 FTE.

In this Credit Controller role, you will be collecting overdue debts for corporate customers and maintaining a high level of customer service.

 

Key accountabilities include:

  • Proactively manage customers to ensure agreed payment terms are being met
  • To provide regular updates on debt activity reporting on all accounts with analysis
  • To assist in preparation of collection reporting documentation
  • To prepare and recommend accounts for escalation in a timely manner

 

Required skills:

  • Develop and build productive working relationships internally and externally to deliver value for customers.
  • Investigate and analyse issues objectively and make sound decisions that maximise opportunities for the business.
  • Use of excel – Vlook-ups, Pivots and other complex reports
  • Ability to think outside the box and take initiative with the confidence and to challenge processes as required within remit
  • Customer Driven with the ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels of the business

 

  • 3yrs minimum Credit Control experience in a B2c environment
  • Strong accounting knowledge
